Spiritual Path: Practical Feet

The Bahá’í Holy Writings are very positive about encouraging parents and educators to teach children about virtuous behavior as well as getting them to discover and nurture their talents and abilities, learn about the world and look to be of service to their fellow men.

The education of children is very important. The Bahá’í Holy Writings tell us that young people are a powerful force for social change. If our children grow up feeling secure and happy with who they are and what they can do they in the world, they will grow into adults who make positive changes in their homes, communities and the world and this in turn will be of benefit to everyone.

In Northampton we are happy to offer to the wider community Pray and Play - Musical Fun for Babies (ages 0-2)

If you have a baby or toddler and you’re looking for something that’s both fun and spiritually nourishing then you’ll love Pray and Play. Pray and Play is a weekly, morning class aimed at teaching babies and their parents some Bahá’í prayers through pretty melodies and making music, along with other traditional music and songs. It’s a very gentle class that aims to introduce the value of prayer, creativity through music and just having fun.
